Ingredients
1tbs oil
.5lb mushrooms (sliced)
.5 cup chopped onion
2.5 cups water
1 bay leaf
1tsp dried thyme
1tsp beef bouillon
3/4tsp garlic powder
.5tspsalt
1/4tsp black pepper
3 medium potatoes (cut into chunks)
3 large carrots (cut into chunks about the same size as the potatoes)
1.5 cups chopped celery
Directions
In a pot heat the oil and add the mushrooms and onion, cook about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add all other ingredients but the celery and cook for about 20 minutes.
Add celery, cook 10 more minutes or until the potatoes and carrots are tender.
Don't forget to remove the bay leaf.
